John Hogan is the founder of TeenForce and Vice-President of Career Services at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. He co-chairs the Opportunity Youth Partnership, is a Jefferson Award recipient, and was recognized as a 2013 Champion of Change by the Obama Administration.

Tom Fandre is the Senior Business Development Manager at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. He was an entertainment and marketing producer for Walt Disney and Mattel. He then earned a Master’s Degree in psychology and devoted himself to helping at-risk youth. He has helped local non-profits enrich lives with services for housing, mental health, and more!

Laura Forrest is the Employment Manager – South County at TeenForce & Silicon Valley Children’s Fund. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice. Laura worked as a technical recruiter in the engineering field and has volunteered at Rebekah Children’s Services.

Stephany Fuentes is the Employment Programs Coordinator at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. She holds a B.A. in sociology from UC Davis and an A.A. in psychology from Gavilan College. As an alumna of programs serving first-generation and underrepresented students like Cal-SOAP and PUENTE, she values our potential to impact youths’ future.

Yaxin Gonzalez is an Employment Coach at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. She graduated with a B.S. in Social Work from San Jose State University and facilitated individual and group counseling sessions for at-risk high school students. Most recently, Yaxin transitioned from helping parents obtain subsidized childcare back to working with youth.

Gina Micheletti is the Accounting Manager at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in commerce in accounting. During college, Gina volunteered for multiple organizations dedicated to the youth of Silicon Valley. She also served as a calculus and algebra tutor and mentor for under-served youth.

Annette Perez is the Staffing Specialist at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. She has 20 years of experience working in the staffing/recruiting industry and has an extensive background working in education as a career service advisor assisting students with their internship and job placements.

She holds a B.A. from Fresno State in Public Relations and has over 12 years of experience in Human Resources, helping employees reach their full potential. Prior to joining TeenForce, Laura worked in the hospitality industry and was a high school teacher.

Sue Pires is an Employment Coach at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. Sue has over ten years experience working directly with youth in education. She has volunteered with various non-profits such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence, Silicon Valley Children’s Fund as well as serving the Santa Clara County homeless community.

Rachel Rehert is the Data and Marketing Specialist at Silicon Valley Children’s Fund & TeenForce. She graduated from University of Southern California with a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish. Rachel transitioned from working in research to nonprofits in order to have a more direct impact on youth in the community.

Previously, Sonya worked in the banking and financial industries and spent over 10 years volunteering with organizations serving at-risk and foster youth, such as DFCS, EMQ, and CASA.
